Hi,

we have a customer that shows general interest in the 3CX app for Android and iOS. He considert using it in home office with his Airpods and the webclient. But he is annoyed be the fakt, that when placing a call for the smartphone app inside the webclient, he has to answer the "make call" calls manually and thus unlock his phone every time.
Is there a way to work around this?

I know for example that the Snom M70 (used in combination with Snom M700 and an SBC) automatically accepts the "Make Call" calls. One doenst have to answer them manually. The outgoing call just starts right away.

Would be glad for any hints/ideas!

Best regards from Troisdrof, Germany,

Micha

I'm afraid this is not possible on the 3CX mobile clients. When used in conjunction with the 3CX Webclient, a "Make Call" will always be made to the 3CX mobile client when placing a call.

Or could there be a way - a workaround - to automatically accept these "Make Call" calls?

Not that I know of no.

Okay, thank you very much for the quick reply!
Maybe somebody else has an idea how one could work around this issue. Maybe with an app that automatically interacts with the notification - if such a thing is possible under android/iOS.

I assume all this also applies to the 3CX Phone for Windows? Or is there a way that it could work on there? @ChrisC_3CX

If you mean having the 3CX Webclient set to control the 3CX Windows App then no, the same does not apply, the 3CX Windows App will automatically place the call without the need of user intervention.

If you mean having the 3CX Windows App set to control the 3CX Mobile App then this is not possible at all as the 3CX Windows App cannot be set to control the 3CX Mobile App.

I meant the latter. Thank you very much. Perfect explanation! :)
