Hello,
The problem mentioned in the previous post (https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/mcu-servers-list.113300/) is not solved.
We did tests with some customers, and they cannot access the webmeeting yet.

As you can see in the image, the actual ip is not listed in this fqdn. Do you know when will this work?
thanks,

As mentioned in the thread you linked, the said FQDN currently does not hold all IPs. This should be addressed at some point in the future though we don't have an ETA yet.

Hi Chris,
what do you mean? I read "in the near future".
Can't you specify if it will be days, weeks or months...?
thanks

As there's no set date I don't think it would be fair to provide you with an approximation that might end up being false. Not to worry though as once we have something we'll definitely let you know.

Jumping quickly into here - the QOS DNS records feature just got pushed.
With every change, it will be updated from our site.

Hi!
one of our customers report that it is not working, there are ips that not appear in this dns record. As you can see in the images below.

This error happened yesterday at 9:17 CEST

I can say that I have validated the zone file on record with every change we did today and it was matching at any time the current list of the active server.

May try and lookup at CloudFlares DNS servers directly as may other common providers (like 8.8.8.8) may cache another record status.

hi Stefan,
yesterday it worked fine, but today we are testing and it doesn't work.
We have tried four different dns, and anyone shows the actual ip, as an example: google and cloudflaredns cloudflare.JPGdns google.JPG
thanks,

Hi, thank you for reporting this. We'll take a look at it and let you know. We expect to have an answer on this sometime mid-next week

Keep in mind that new MCU servers are spun up and are available to use within 60 seconds. This 60 seconds includes bringing up a machine & creating a DNS record, validating and making the server available for use. The QOS list however is updated every 5 minutes.

If you join a meeting on a fresh server and do an Nslookup before 5 minutes have passed, you won't see the server in the list. If the server however is not in the list after those 5 minutes but you're connected to a meeting on that server then it means something's wrong.

Can you please verify that you're waiting a while before performing the nslookup & that you don't have a DNS cache in front of your network with any custom timers?

Thanks.

Hi Leonidas,
no, we don't have any dns cache, and here are some test made this morning, from 9:24AM to 10:45AM. The mcu of our webmeeting test is 34.159.75.48
1. 1 nslookup to 8.8.8.8 and 7 minutes later another to 1.1.1.1
nslookup 1.JPG
2. mxtoolbox at 10:00
nslookup 2.JPG
3. nslookup using wireshark to view connections at 10:40
nslookup 3.JPG

and as you can see, the actual ip doesn't appear

thanks!

Thanks, i can see it live now.

I'll get back to you on this early next week as we'll need to take a deeper look at what's going on to provide a fix.

Thank you.

Hi,
are there any news about this?
thanks

Hi there, thank you for the reminder on this.

We're taking a look at this right now.

Hi there, we identified an issue with our DNS updater. It's been resolved.
