Greetings,

We were wondering why the Microphone gain on the 3CX Android app is on 175% by default?
This always sounds extremely distorted because of the high volume gain/increase. When we change it to 100%, it's perfect quality.
We have to adjust every app of our customers to 100% manually, or show them how they have to change it to 100%.

Is there a way to push this setting on the Management Console to put 100% as the new default?

It's also weirdly worded: "Default option is 175%. If you are not being heard by the other party, gradually increase the gain" -> It's already at max by default?

Thank you

Hi @MSCO

Unfortunately pushing this setting through the Management Console is not possible.
This configuration needs to be done manually for each android phone.

Cheers for your reply, could it be that it's actually just a bug that it's on 175% by default?

Because the wording in the app is: "If you are not being heard by the other party, gradually increase the gain"
But it's impossible to increase the gain, if it's already at max by default.

@MSCO as you very well suggested, we have set the default to 100%, plus fixed the wording in the upcoming beta release 18.1.5.278.
This will only take effect for fresh installs though, any user updating the app need to force this setting manually.
