Title: Microsoft SIP endpoints will be switched over to use certificates

User impact: If action is not taken, your tenant may not be able to connect to Teams SIP endpoints during the test.

On September 19th (starting 4 PM UTC) Microsoft will perform a 24h test where all Microsoft SIP endpoints will be switched over to use certificates where the certificate chain will roll up to “DigiCert Global Root G2” Certificate Authority (CA). New Certificate Authority (CA) must be added in your SBC configuration and old Baltimore CA must be retained, do not replace it. If your SBC doesn’t trust this CA you will not be able to connect to Teams SIP endpoints during the test. Final switch to new Certificate Authority (CA) will be performed on October 3rd.

This communication will expire in 7 days, and is scheduled to remain active for the full duration.

They are just changing the CA on their side. Not the same thing. It shouldn't affect 3CX if the new CA is already trusted.
