HI, this new MCU was deployed yesterday.

I was surprised that auto selection would never pick on up that server so I decided to ping it.

It doesn't ping and status is green here https://status.3cx.net/

You you mind checking this out?

Hi there, auto-selection will route you to the MCU closest to your PBX installation. Selecting BHS directly from the list will give BHS more weight to be selected, but if there's an MCU closer to you with less users connected and more resources available, you will be moved to that one instead.

Hi,

My bad, it seems like ping is simply deactivated server-side. I can connect to the MCU properly.

Thanks also for clarifying the selection process. I wasn't sure how rigid the MCU selection algo was.
