We’ve discovered that WebMeeting reports/recording links and invitations sent via “3CX (direct email)” are no longer being received. We usually send invitations via iCal and the recording feature isn’t used frequently, so I’m not sure when this started. The last time I'm aware of anyone receiving an email with a link to a recording was in late June. Email notifications from 3CX and voicemails still function as expected.

We are currently on 16.0.6.655, but also experienced this with 16.0.6.641. TCP 443 is accessible from the Internet and we have a valid SSL certificate. I’ve tried opening up every other port and disabling our IPS, AV, and Content Filter. There isn’t any relevant activity showing up in the 3CX System Service log as far as I can tell, whereas I can see when emails are being sent for things like voicemails. There are other forum posts with similar issues, but I believe the above covers the suggestions from those.

I see there are some potentially relevant items in the change log for the current alpha build:
Fixed issue related to WebMeeting links due to invalid data stored in the database
Fixed sending of conference events

Does anyone have other suggestions or happen to know if this is something being addressed in the next build?

I too have the same problem with version 16.0.655. Lots of emails, reports, webinar link recording are not received.

do you use a 3CX provided FQDN or manage this your self?

I too have same problem with version 16.0.655.

I manage my own FQDN. I have tried to send with custom smtp server and 3CX smtp server, but webmeeting emails is not receiveing .

the common issue arises from muss configured SSl certs. The web meeting platform connects to your system to deliver the report to your 3CX which then 3CX sends as email.

best to check your SSl cert here (include HTTs port!)

I can confirm this issue is happening to us intermittently, I've been pulled around a few projects so I have had a large delay getting logs back to support (hopefully I can get some time to work on this soon).

It's very inconsistent for us, sometimes it's perfect, sometimes one email doesn't work. sometimes a large bundle doesn't work. we tried 3cx smtp and 365 smtp servers and there was no change. CSV, and manual input has the same issue.

I can confirm we are the same, we manage our own FQDN

regardless, I will have to work on getting some logs so we can try to find the root cause for this one :)

@FridayIT from your description you are now mixing invitation into the mix which is unrelated to the customer's request.
