outgoing calls are not permitted by telecom 3cx on a huawei phone

Hi,

I am having an issues with making calls on a 3cx app installed on huawei phone, when i try to dial out i get this error "outgoing calls are not permitted by telecom". The same 3cx account works fine on other phones, I also tested on a different Huawei and it work fine.

What could be the issue.

This error indicates that the telecom API that handles calls on Android phones is not allowing you to make calls.
Does the phone have Google services natively on it?

Thank you for the reply,

The phone does not have Google services, is there a work around. I am also using Huawei P50 without google service as well but i can make calls from the same account but on this specific phone i can't make calls at all.


The only issues that i am aware of when it comes to latest Huawei phones is that you can't receive calls on the 3cx app.
