Hi,
We recently encountered issues with a client’s phone that required us to remotely access their PC in order to apply necessary changes.
To streamline this process, I’m considering whether we can implement a remote proxy link that would allow us to access the phone’s Web UI from anywhere.
This would enable us to perform tasks like remote backups of the phone configuration prior to firmware upgrades. In a recent case, we lost some DSS key settings because the new firmware didn’t carry over a specific configuration line. While we resolved it manually, it highlighted the need for a more efficient approach.
The broader idea here is to improve how administrators like us can manage phone configurations remotely, reducing the time spent coordinating with clients for remote sessions.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
