Hi,

I have seen the 3CX video conference solution evolve, but am still not in a position that we can use it effectively.

When holding meetings, we regularly ask to remote control an attendees machine. However, the current implementation of the remote control makes this unusable currently, which is a real shame.

The way it works currently, is that you initiate a remote control request, but you get you choose which screen the remote attendee will share. You do not know which of their screens is appropriate to share and therefore this is a major security risk for the end user, as they should be the one who chooses which screen/app to share.

Please review the way in which Webex/GoToMeeting etc. provide the method to initiate remote control requests, as I would love to be able to use this feature within 3CX.

thanks

Mark

Sorry, I was in a rush to leave the office last week, so to make clear what the issue is:

The ability for the meeting host to request an attendee share's their screen, should cause a prompt to appear on the chosen attendee, inviting them to share their screen/app. This allows the attendee to be in complete secure control of what they share. This is not how it currently works therefore providing an insecure mechanism.

Also the fine tuning of this process, should make it clear and obvious how to stop sharing and for the request to remote control a users machine to be fully informed and accepted before allowing. Again, then the ability to remove remote control quickly and easily. I find the current method is not clear and again is an insecure method in 3CX.

This therefore, is more of a Feature Request to 3CX, for which I am happy to have a conversation with anyone to discuss in more detail.
