Roadmap for Android Auto

I've been hoping for some time that the app would get an upgrade to make it useable in a car, and I see posts of years ago saying it was, but it doesn't work, at least currently; I'm on V18.1.2 of the android app.

I wondered if there is a roadmap for this feature to be fully implemented? I have a client who is interested in a phone system but no car support is a deal breaker.

I use 3CX on Android in my car almost daily through my Android Auto head unit and it seems to work fine.
3CX doesn't have it's own app on the unit, but the call just shows up on the display as a native phone call does.

What functions or features is your client not getting through the car?
