Samsung Galaxy S7 & Galaxy Smartwatch

Hi Guys

I have a customer that has this combo with the latest 3cx V16 app 16.2.0.93. He has the smart watch connected via BT.
When a call is made or received from the phone on the 3cx app the audio is sent to the Galaxy S3 Frontier smartwatch and has to be toggled to allow audio to be sent via galaxy S7. Is there anyway to disable this with out turning off the BT link to the smartwatch.

Appoligies i dont have software Versions i have requested this info and will update when i have it.

If you're sure he answers the calls from the phone and not from the watch, have him try this next thing. What you're describing seems to be the effect of calls being answered directly from the watch.

He can use the Bluetooth menu on the phone and look for the paired watch, when found, just click the settings button next to it and disable the Calls option or the Audio one, both are kinda useless for a smartwatch, because you don't use it to take calls or listen to music.

He can also use the watch Notifications menu and disable all notifications from 3CX, but i don't know exactly how the audio is routed, so this may not work.

We are working on the Wear OS watch integration. For now, it will have issues.

Why? I will explain - there is another glorified Android mess in watches similar to the phones with manufacturers playing about with their proprietary wearable OS. So we decided to wait a bit and focus on wear os by google only for now.

The current app will be limited in functionality. Calls might be answered but this again depends on telecom api.

This will be the main focus for 2020

Manufacturers also hide this from the public. Very unfair.. Then the app behaves in an unpredictable manner, and public says the app sucks. I don't blame the public of course. most do not have adb to understand what is happening.

And they do this on purpose - so you do not interop a phone with another smart watch. Manufacturers destroy the concept of Android.

So for now, we are going to focus on Google watch. I will post the watches we will test on. unfor Watch and wearable technology is more sensitive because it depends on the taste of the user's fashion. What I mean is that all phones give and take look mostly the same. And are in your pocket. But we will now find out that a user Will buy a beautiful Armani or Fossil or Samsung Galaxy fit number 3 million, from the outside and inside there will be an Android jungle.. This is my worry. Where fashion and look / style will generate more expectations from the app.

A real Wear OS device should show this logo when it boots..see below.
