Sending SMS

Hi, is it possible to send SMS using the 3CX android app?
If not, how can SMS be sent and received using Android mobile device?

All 3CX clients are able to send/receive SMS chat messages. So contact your 3CX PBX administrator to check if the server is configured to support SMS.

How is it done in the Android app? I only see "Chat" with no option to type a mobile number (only 3CX extensions)

Have you enabled SMS sending for your extension? Under Users > you > General > SMS.

Is your DID set there? I don't see a DID in the list but not sure if you just redacted it.

Also, make sure the DID is set to E164.

There is no DID in the drop-down.

One other thing I noticed, is that only 1 trunk has the SMS/MMS tab present. All others don't show it

Does anyone have any idea why the SMS tab is missing for 2 out of 3 SIP trunks, and why nothing is showing as an option to be chosen when configuring SMS for my user extension?
