SIP trunk FORBIDDEN Error

Hello, i am trying to use 3cx software with my local telecom. They gave me sip trunk info, but i am getting strange error. This are trunk details:



And this is the error that i get:



I am wondering, what's happening here, and why is that sip from log formulated with that strange %40np.ht.hr part, that does not belong there ? Is it problem on my side , is it possible that i got wrong password or that my mac address needs to be listed somewhere on their side ?

It could be a number of things, even the number (length or format) you are sending. You could spend a lot of time just changing settings in the hope, it will work. To speed things up, i would contact the provider, for an explanation of what they don't like coming from you.

%40 is the HTTP Encode for @
So the auth ID with the @ in it - turn into the Auth ID with %40.
Are you sure the SIP user ID is a full email address - or should it be the numeric portion only?

403 FORBIDDEN – Where the SIP Server has received the client request but won’t provide the service. Such as a conference the client has not been registered for.

The error states call or registration also - which is it ?

I would recommend removing the "@np.ht.hr" from the auth ID and try again. If they need extra authentication credentials you can try using 3 way authentication. You could also use a supported 3CX provider and avoid the trouble with having to guess how to register the trunk to the PBX.
