SNOM D862 Transfer Via Directory or BLF?

Hi All,

I am trying to transfer via the Directory or using the BLF buttons on a SNOM D862, and it doesn't offer me a way of seeing the BLF keys on the display or Directory during the transfer.

How can this be done? Surely I must be able to do this?

Or must I know the extn number of every user?

When you have a BLF key assigned to the IP phone, which you must first configure from the admin console or webclient, BLF section, and when on call, you simply need to press the BLF for the extension you would like to transfer the call to and depending on what is set under their IP phones setting for the option 'Choose either Blind or Attended transfer method when DSS key is pressed' the call will be Bind or attended transferred to that extension.

Hi,

The phone already has several BLF keys allocated and configured. I'm well aware of how to configure them.

My issue is if I am talking on a live call, on a SNOM D862 handset, and I want to transfer the call to -

1. A programmed BLF key. How is this done? As I cannot see any of the 4 pages of BLF keys mid-transfer? They are not on my screen to know which one to select.

2. Search the Directory to find the person I want to transfer to. As mid-transfer, I also can't see the Directory softkey.

So it seems on this SNOM handset on 3CX, I must know the extension number to transfer to someone. As I can't see either the BLFs or the Directory mid-transfer.

Unless I'm missing something? I've tried scrolling left/right/up/down/centre select button and various hard keys to see if they show the programmed BLFs or Directory, but nothing.

Any ideas?
