Hi,

During a call, when pressing the transfer button, is there a way to transfer the call with the BLFs buttons ? (with blind or attended transfer)
And if not, is it possible to change the template in order to that ?
Phone : Snom D865

Thx

I can't speak to SNOM, but yealink you can do this. You have a BLF configured, you are in a call, all you need to do is touch the BLF (don't even need to touch transfer first). BLF does blind or attended based on the setting in phone provisioning page in 3CX.

Snom does this too. But what I find weird, is that you can't choose blind or attended with the phone.
But what I would like to do either:
1- I get a call, I answer and I use the BLF and then I can choose to transfer blind or attended.
OR
2 - I get a call, I answer, I press a transfer blind/attended button(s) and then I press a BLF to transfer.

I could be wrong, but option 2 I think yealink does. Does SNOM not do that? What happens when you try it?

First, thx for your answer and sorry for the late reply.

And no. You can set the blf to act as Blind or Attended, and that works. But when it's set, you can't choose to transfer one call attended, and the next one blind.

If you hit the blind transfer button, then hit the blf (that's configured for attendant transfer), it doesn't blind transfer?

Yes, when I configure the phone to use BLF for blind transfer, whatever I'll do, It will blind transfer.
The blind/attended transfer will only be functionnal when I enter an extension and then press the blind/attended key, and not for the blind.
I'll try play with template to make it work...

Hi

i have never really understood the blind or attended, i change it to always to attended and if you but the phone down before the other party answers it turns into blind, you have to put the phone down anyway, so either wait for them to answer or put the phone down.

use this

<quick_transfer perm="">attended</quick_transfer>

search this is your template and change it from blind to attended
