If a user with a Snom DECT handset in the M900 multicell system resets a welcome mail or password, the handset loses its registration.
Is the Auth information (Auth ID, Auth password) actually changed during a password reset? Why?
The problem can be replicated at will.
This probably means that the 3CX provisioning with extremely short times must be set on the Snom M900.
Will this be corrected or is it fixed?

Now we have a primary station every 5 minutes, which is configured and requests the provisioning file.
And now the network traffic gets all base stations, which now also always ask for a provisioning file, which logically does not exist.
This somehow doesn't make sense to me and seems to be a design error in the V20.

Hi there.

You must reprovision your DECT once you reset the password of one of the user that is connected there, as the extension will also change the Authentication ID etc.

I know and I mentioned that too.
In order not to involve technical support every time to initiate provisioning, it was defined in the M900 that the provisioning file should be retrieved every 5 minutes. This means that all secondary base stations also request a provisioning file from the 3CX during synchronization. However, these are pointless requests and generate unnecessary network traffic.
I can't imagine that the users are happy if they can't use their DECT extension for a long time after the password reset.

Unfortunately there is nothing else to add, and if changes are made the device needs to be rebooted.
