startup free instead of pro. how to?

I have registered a startup account, at registration it says, free forever. After registration it says it is the pro plan.
At the moment I don't need a pro plan, I would like to experiment for a longer time with the free plan, because I have limited time to spend exploring it.
How can I get the free plan? Or is that only available self hosted?

Thank you for posting in 3CX Community Forums!

Currently, we offer StartUP PRO completely free for the first 2 months so you can test all the features StartUP has to offer.

At the end of the 2-month trial if no purchase is made, then it will auto downgrade to 3CX StartUP FREE, which has no expiration.

Just something to keep in mind: If you have configured any PRO features during your trial period please note that those may no longer function after the downgrade. You can check out the differences between the 2 here.

Ah... thanks, then I can just let the pro expire and experiment more..

Is this still the case? I'd like to downgrade (I'll be purchasing enterprise with another account) and would like to keep using 3cx free for my home/family. I received an email saying that my pro account would be terminated if I did not renew.
