Good afternoon,

I have been struggling to get some T48Us to provision on 3CX v18 Update 9 (Build 20)

This is what I have tried/established so far:

Factory reset each phone
FW upgraded to 108.86.0.77 - taken from the 3CX links
Copied in provisioning URL to phone, disabled DHCP, left PNP enabled.
Phone can ping FQDN.
LetsEncrypt certificate valid, I get a 404 if I browse to the URL.
Disabled only Accept trusted certificates
Phones moved to the same VLAN as 3CX server, on 192.168.3.0 /24 subnet.
I can manually add the phone to an extension via the Yealink WebUI.

I have tried everything I could find on the forums and am stuck on what to do next.

Another question: Looks like the phones were provisioned to a service called yourwhc. I wanted to setup some router phones via the webclient and I am presented with a message that says these phones are already added to an RPS or something similar. I did visit the Yealink website ticket.yealink.com to request a RPS MAC removal but I think that is only possible if I have RPS account credentials - which I am assuming would be yourwhc? Is there a way for me to release these phones or am I snookered.

Thank you in advance for any support you can offer.

Did you get these phones new or second hand? The MAC address shouldn’t be in RPC unless it was used someplace else before. Reach out to whoever you got them from and tell them to remove the MAC addresses from the provisioning system.

Thanks Johathan, there is no one left that has any knowledge of how the company previously used them, they have been sitting in storage and their history is unknown. We just want to provision them in 3CX. How can we track down who has the access to remove them from RPS?

You can submit a ticket to yealink to remove from their rps server and then it will work properly in 3cx.

Thank you Johnathan - it was as simple as you sound when you ignore the "RPC MAC removal" button on the Yealink website. I submitted a general Helpdesk request and the MACs were removed. Provisioning and setting up Router phones is now working.
