If I receive an external call and need to transfer to a colleague, I choose the Transfer icon (arrow pointing upwards), choose the colleague in question, then choose consultation and if I have the colleague's approval, I choose Transfer again (double crossed arrow pointing to the right). After consultation, the Transfer icon has changed from a single arrow pointing upwards to a double arrow pointing to the right. At least that's how it should be. See also Attachment.

On my smartphone (Samsung A40) the latter no longer happens. The Transfer icon will no longer change and will remain a single arrow pointing upwards. As a result, I can no longer transfer the colleague with whom I have just consulted with the external caller. I have been experiencing this problem for a few weeks now. My colleagues are not bothered by this.

In my phone's Apps settings, I can't find anything strange. All necessary permissions are enabled. I can't find anything strange in the settings of the 3CX app either. Enabling the Stay Active option also doesn't provide any improvement. What could be the cause of this annoying problem and how can I fix it?

Hi, Thanks for your feedback.

Could you try the following please? After tapping on Attended transfer and choosing the colleague to transfer to, you should see a Join button. Instead you are again seeing the transfer button correct?

If so, can you tap again on Transfer, but then back out from the dialog box. Does it show Join button after this?

Meaning

Tap on transfer
Select Attended Transfer
Select contact
Tap again on Transfer [if Join is not visible]
Close the transfer dialog [tap on back]

Do you see the Join button?

Hi there!
I can confirm this issue. After attended connect the button to transfer the call in hold is still the arrow up. Pressing it will bring me again to the choice attended or unattended.
I tested it now three times and two times the new button to transfer (crossed arrows to the right) were there. But one time it wasn't and the basic transfer button (arrow up) was shown. I tried the steps @ThomB_3CX told to do and yes.... now the correct transfer button is available and can be successfully used.
Hope this helps.

Perfect thanks @FrankAC
We in fact have a fix for this and should be available in Beta soon. WIll keep you updated when we release it

Sorry for my late reply, but I'm very happy to say that it works for me also. Thank you very much!

Hi @Gréon @FrankAC

We have released V20.0.0.14 Beta of the Android client today which should fix this issue:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/change-log/3cxphone-android-build-history/

You'd have to join the BETA program to get this update. Just launch the Play Store, search for 3CX, and while in the Apps information page (where you see Uninstall & Open) scroll down to where it reads "Join the Beta" and press "Join".

It may take a few minutes but once complete you will see the Update button available for you to install the latest Beta app.

At any time, you may leave the Beta program by following the same steps to where the app information page reads 'You're a beta tester' and tap on 'Leave'
