Solved Use Desk Phone for outgoing calls over teams

I have integrated teams in 3cx, incoming calls can be answred with the desk phone. Outgoing external calls in teams are working as well. So far so good.

If i make a call in 3cx, the phone rings i pick up and the call starts.
If i make a call in Teams, it immediately starts without using the desk phone.

What do i need to do if i want to use the phone for outgoing calls with teams? Or do i have to use the specific "teams phones" (Yealink MP58 for example)

Hi @ms_ccnet,

Some of the phones on our Supported IP Phones list do support CSTA (Computer Supported Telecommunications Applications) which allows the 3CX Clients to control the IP phone for phone calls etc. Teams integration does not support this, as it is specifically an integrated softphone. You will need to open the 3CX App to dial out using your IP phone.

Teams phones like the Yealink MP58 you mentioned may be able to do this but we haven't tested this. We tested the Teams client, so while you may be able to get it working, that would take a little testing on your side.
