If one sets up an extension with Microsoft Teams direct routing enabled and utilizes the 3CX client and Teams client on IOS, it is invariably a random event as to whether the Teams client will ring or the 3CX client will ring on inbound calls. Does this imply that one should not use the same extension for Teams and the 3CX iOS app? This would be confusing. Ideally there would be a setting in 3CX that would defer to Teams if enabled for inbound calls. Is there another workaround?

Your assumption is correct, Apple CallKit does a very good job in handling the PUSH notifications, and by the time it seems 2 very similar notifications relating to "calls", even if they are different apps, it serves you whatever comes first.

As you said, it is not good practice to have both clients. If you need from time to time to have both, just disable the IOS account in the 3CX App by simply tapping the checkmark on the leftside of the account.

On the other hand, now with the integration, you should be OK just having the 3CX App.
