- Phone Model: Samsung SM-A515F/DSN
- Android Version: Android 12
- App Version: 18.1.2.69
- 3CX PBX Version: 18.0 (Build 418) / Debian Hosted in Azure
- Network Connection: Wifi and/or LTE, IPv4
- Client is on a different network than the PBX which is hosted in Azure.
This phone doesn't seem to be sending any audio, i.e. caller cannot hear any audio but I can hear them fine. The issue is present on both Wifi and 4G/LTE.
I found some other forum posts mentioning the Telecom API and the Audio subsystem API so I have tried changing these settings to no avail.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the 3CX app as well as re-provisioning the account. I have also tried other extensions on this phone. After this I was beginning to suspect the phone's microphone was dodgy but other apps using the microphone and native calling all works fine.
The one-way audio seems to affect all calls from the 3cx app inbound or outbound, these are the scenarios I have tested:
- Internal call to another extension
- external call
- echo test *777
- *888
Fortunately I have multiple 3CX instances in Azure so have been able to test with extensions on another PBX and the issue is still there.
