Voiceflex SIP no longer working

Hi support

Im building a new PBX Version 20.0 Update 8 (Build 680 Alpha)

I had a Voiceflex SIP Trunk up and registered and shortly after It disconnected.

Voiceflex said that 3CX isnt authenticating the trunk, the PBX is sending a blank registration without the username or password.

im using the default template and i've recreated it.

any ideas how to sort this one?

It looks to me that their IP is blacklisted somewhere and the PBX is not getting the 401 Unauthorized or ignores it because it is blacklisted. Check your IP blacklist and make sure their IP is not included there.

Thank you, it was in the 3CX blacklist. It was driving me insane.

Though, no mention that it was failing because of a blacklist in 3cx activity / event logs?

If there was an event every time a blacklisted IP was trying to contact you, you would probably go insane. After it's blacklisted we ignore incoming traffic so the PBX actually thinks it's not getting a reply so it keeps trying to register with the initial message.

Yes, I would agree for every blacklist, but more specifically for a sip trunk registration blacklist.

if it's already in the blacklist the packet doesn't get process so the PBX would not know what it is anymore.

Understandable.

Maybe for consideration in future.. when the SIP check happens, if it could check the "resolved DNS IP" to 3CX blacklist?
