Well, when I stopped my raspberry Pi on-premise server to get on board with the Hosted site since the raspberry Pi support is going away, I was told and read that the existing SIP trunk provider (Ahoy Telecom) is not supported as a SIP provider for the Hosted 3CX. So I started the Porting process with Voxtelesys and I have to admit it is very nice and easy system HOWEVER... I do not have access to the PORT OUT PIN number required by Voxtelesys, Is this a special number per company I would have to guess at to figure out. I have asked Ahoy and they are dragging their feet, Is this a generic number or is it specific to each company but I thought I would ask.

The only people that can assist you with what you are asking for is the old VoIP provider. I'm afraid this is not something that 3cx can assist you with.

I know... still waiting... Was hoping it was a generic number per vendors... obviously not.

Have you tried submitting the port request without a PIN? They may not reject it. If they do, then they need to provide it. If they will not, and you are in the US, you might contact the FCC.

Until it gets ported, have Ahoy forward your DID number(s) to a new number(s) on Voxtelesys.

It was rejected... They told me to reach out to Ahoy Telecom to get the PIN. I have asked them in a ticket to forward my DIDs

Hey @texmansru47, thanks for the kind words! The port out pin will come from Ahoy's underlying carrier, you should push the ticket you have open with them and see if they can get it moving (it should be a quick and easy lookup on their end). Once you get that update the port and get the numbers moved over! If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to our support team or you can respond to the port request with any other information or questions.

They initially stated I was not a registered customer of their because of the email I was using. I have provided my secondary email and my account number and still nothing. I hope to get that PIN today so we can get the porting taken care... and I can then cancel the Ahoy account and get this moving.

Do they have a portal? If so I would assume they could check your email via your login?

Or do you have an account number on an invoice? An account number should get you access.

I gave them my account number and both emails... they are just dragging their feet I fear.

They have responded and they gave me the PORT OUT Pin. I just resubmitted the port request... fingers crossed.

Just talked to the porting team and looks like its clear sky's ahead!
