hey all

I've been using webmeeting to interview mainly 1 person at a time and lots of time the video is limited due to the bandwith and keep going to audio only.

I recently tried with 2 guests and it was terrible (robotic). I know my upload speed for my connection is fine and customer too.

I'm trying to work out if we have any control of the quality (my 3cx is built on google compute) and how I can fix it. Suggestions appreciated.

It's a bit strange as audio only mode uses a very tiny amount of bandwidth (16Kbps). Audio sounding like a robotic voice means that there's a lot of packet loss OR high CPU usage on one of the 3 (or all 3) participants.

Try:
  1. Record your WebMeeting session using the record feature. Have everyone in the meeting take turns counting to 10. Check the recording, listen to all 3 participants and try to see which one of the 3 might be experiencing problems.

  2. Have everyone check their CPU usage during the meeting. If it's ~85%, this could explain a few things.

  3. Open the WebMeeting settings panel and go to > Network > Advanced and check for lost packets, latency. All 3 users need to do this to figure out who's the one experiencing networking issues.
