WhatsApp Verification code SMS/Phone Call

Hi,

3CX : Version 20.0 Update 3 (Build 806 Release)
Install TypeOn Premise

A client has set up WhatsApp for their system
They have the webhook and access token, etc.

WhatsApp wants to verify the phone number - SIP trunk does not support SMS and the calls inbound are being taken over by the WhatsApp configuration.

They have no way of recieving the verification code.

Is there a simple solution to this? or is it a case of undoing everything and setting the WhatsApp number to a phone DDI ?

WhatsApp/meta can´t do anything with the calls entering thru the sip trunk; point all calls from that trunk to your extension when asking for the verification code over call
