WordPress Webinar Plugin fails activation

I am able to install the plugin on our WordPress site but when attempting to Activate the plugin it fails:

Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in /home/content/79/7394679/html/wp-content/plugins/3cx-webinars/includes/webinar-form-functions.php on line 21

While unrelated, we did not have any problem with the LiveChat pugin FWIW

What version of the plugin and Wordpress (if possible PHP too) are you running?

WordPress 5.0.3
and Webinar Plugin Version 10.4.2

Looks like your PHP engine is not updated. If you can, for both perfomance and security reasons, you should update it.
In the meanwhile, we prepare a compatibility fix for older PHP versions.

Plugin compatibility is guaranteed with PHP 7.0 and newer. It looks like you're on PHP 5.x, which is very outdated. We updated plugin with a compatibility fix, but you could have other issues if you (or your provider) don't update PHP engine. Please uninstall 3CX Webinar plugin and reinstall it.
