I hope someone here can help.

I have recently created a new free account. I have a Yealink T53W Desk Phone.

The desktop phone screen tells me that I have “No Service”. I have a dial tone and can dial numbers. When I make a call I get a busy signal and a message on the phone screen saying “Invite Request No Response”.

The 3CX Admin Console Shows the Yealink phone as a router phone but it has a red box next to it.

I have done the following to the Yealink T53W Desk Phone.
~ Reset to factory settings
~ Updated the firmware
~ Set it up (Provisioned) as router phone

I have been doing a lot of searching and reading to see what I can do or what I did wrong. I believe I set up the 3cx account correctly.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I did wrong or what I can do to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

There have been a few threads from people claiming they needed .74 firmware for some unknown reason. You might try that. Manually change the number in the URL at https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/. If it doesn’t work right away I’d factory reset the phone, delete and re add.

Hi Steve, Thanks for your help!

I think you are saying I can try to downgrade the firmware, correct?

I clicked on the link that you provided and I didn't see anything that I can manually change. I only see the current firmware.

I have not been successful in finding the firmware downgrade either. Where can I find the .74 firmware or manually change it?

I know how to factory reset the phone. Where in the reset process can I delete the newer firmware and re add?

Please forgive me if I am not getting wat you are saying. I am new to the world of IP Phones and PBX's.

Thanks again for your help!

I decided to perform another factory reset on the phone. This will be the third time I have done this. After the reset the phone started working. I can now make and receive calls. Hopefully it will not have any other issues. Thanks, again!

Thanks for clarifying! I was able to get the .74 firmware just in case.

I am having new problems so I will probably have to start a new post.

All the incoming calls go straight to VM. Nothing is set to busy or DND. When I make calls to my cell (Not 3cx app) it goes straight to voicemail as well and then does not show up in the history I probably have some wrong. So both incoming and outgoing are strange now.

Thanks again

Have you also confirmed your Office Hours?

Hi Theodore,

I did set up office hours and it didn't change anything. I then cleared office hours and made all scenarios go to the user (me) and that did not change anything. See attachment.

Thanks again for your help!
Mike

In the configuration for the office hours, have you assigned a DID?
Also i cannot see an assigned user based on the office hours.

I did not assign a DID. I had assigned it to my User. I edited out the User information.

I did assign the DID in the office hours and tried to call again but it still did not work. Goes right to voicemail

I disconnected the desk phone to make sure there was no settings in the phone that were causing problems. It didn't make any difference either. As the calls still go straight to voicemail.

Any other ideas?

Thanks again!

I set up another free account without a desk phone installed.

When I called the number it rang like it is supposed to. I click the red circle to end the call.

I tried calling the number later, actually about 10 different times, and every time I call this other account it goes straight to voicemail.

I don't understand. I have not changed a thing on this new account. So why would it work the first time and then not work after that?

Thanks again for your help!
