I have a client I am working with to move from Zoom to 3cx. This client is huge and would like to migrate slowly as they have over 40 locations. I am looking to set up a sip trunk from Zoom over to 3cx so users on Zoom can call other users on the 3cx system via ext until we get all locations moved over. Once we are ready we will relocate the DID for that location to 3cx. I know most folks like to deploy these in one shot, but too many variables can cause many issues here. Has anyone deployed V20 to a large enterprise yet?

A SIP Trunk between the 2 systems would be possible.

You can migrate your users over slowly.

Lets say you have 2 users on the system for now, extensions 100 and 101. These 2 users will be able to speak to each other internally and if they need to dial other users on the other system, the 3CX system will consult its outbound rules to send the call through to the other system.

3CX will only consult its outbound rules if you dial a number the system doesnt know (like an invalid extension or PSTN number)

SIP trunks can be configured on 3CX and have the Zoom system send PSTN calls to 3CX, or vice versa, to ease your migration.

All the work is essentially done via outbound rules.
