I must agree, 3CX for Android call quality has ranged from unusable to tolerable for me, even from 12.5 up through the current 14, across multiple Android phones. It's never been what I could classify as "good" or "great"
Currently w/ v14 and latest SP2, all Android Phone clients we use have choppy audio resulting in very difficult communications and annoyed customers. Those range from Samsung Galaxy Note and Nexus 6P running Marshmallow 6.1 to an HTC One M8 running 5.1. All 3cx Android clients are running the latest version from the store.
I know it's not my internet connection. I can use a 3rd party app on the same phone and the same internet connection, and have perfect call quality. I also have a few remote extensions with hardware VOIP phones which all work flawlessly.
It really seems like an overall problem w/ 3CX for Android app which needs to be taken seriously and addressed.
