After that, I will be able to tell you if can be fixed or not. Mainly, I'm interested about why "Cannot logon to computer account" (system tells this, gateway only reports.)

Ok, I've searched on tech docs about this issue - it seems that user (3cxskypeacc...] or, better, the group it belongs [3CXSkypeGatewayAccounts], does not have "allow logon locally" right on this machine. From what I understand, you have to open the Local Policy Editor and check for this right and add to it the group (or all its users). Since I don't have a Windows Home Server, I cannot check this. However, I repeat, Windows Home Server is not currently supported by gateway.

I need also a working skype gateway on my win2003 sbs domain controller with ad.

as i can see, the "3cxskype01" user wants to sign in as 3cxskype01@serverhostname ... this is not possible!
I have reconfigured my local security policy but it wont work.

can you specify a field where i can specify i.e. a logon-username as "3cxskype01@domainname.local" or "domainname.local\3cxskype01". I think this would solve the problems with authentication.

I am having the same issue with Windows 2003 server. I went out and purchased a sound card now can not get it to work due to the account name/password issue. I also tried the local security policies as well with no luck.

Hi! You should understand difference between local server accounts and Domain accounts. You should know also, that on domain controllers there are NO local accounts. On the other hand, a Skype gateway using local account (3cxskype01, 3cxskype02) and so on. Therefore there is not way to run Gateway on Domain controller.

This is not totally right. The setup creates the usergroup and the users with the ActiveDirectory! The only problem as i can see is the login with username@computername this should changed.

Really nasty way to get this to work on a WHS is to add the accout it creates to the local administrators group...When I have time I will research what exactly it needs and post back...
