  1. Contact Groups / SMS

Apologies, I don't have permission to post in ideas, so please feel free to move. With the first alpha roll-out of the long awaited SMS, the first thing my staff said this morning was, "Sweet, we can finally mass SMS groups of clients!". We are a managed service provider, so what they meant...
  2. 1U Rackmount Hardware/Appliance?

Very cool! I'll definitely keep an eye out for this. Most of my clients need/want the call recording, unfortunately. I received my 1U appliance from Amazon this week. Intel J1900, 8B RAM, 128GB SSD in a decently attractive network appliance style enclosure, $350, so far so good.
  3. 1U Rackmount Hardware/Appliance?

Interesting! I was thinking about the Pi3, but was worried it wasn't beefy enough. What's the rough estimate on max number of endpoints and SC's for the Pi4?
  4. 1U Rackmount Hardware/Appliance?

Yeah that NX96 is the call4tell appliance I just burned myself on. Crazy shipping cost and comes from China. Unfortunately this is an AT&T bvoip install (customer is in a contract), so it's gotta be on-premise for the next 2 years.
  5. 1U Rackmount Hardware/Appliance?

Hi All, I'm looking for a low cost rackmount style appliance for running on-premise installs. I quoted a client one of the Call4Tell appliances for a small 12 phone installation, but got burned not doing my due diligence. $150 shipping (ate my margin), and it ships from China. I found a few...
  6. HomeOffice Users / 3CX - SBC Questions

So, not to piggyback or take this off topic, but how do hosted providers such as Jive and 8x8 accomplish this? I have Jive clients for example with 50+ phones in a single location, no port forwarding or crazy NAT configurations required, just plug and play. Clients can take their phones home...
  7. Inbound Routing - Forward to Answering Service?

Thanks everyone for the input and advice. I like the provider level idea, it may be the most elegant, assuming they support scheduling. It never really occurred to me how weak the scheduling and call routing aspects are here. I guess weak is the wrong word, inflexible. I've been doing this...
  8. Inbound Routing - Forward to Answering Service?

Hello all, Need a little assistance on an advanced inbound routing technique. Client has IVR which answers on main DID both during and after business hours, (biz hours are M-F, 9AM until 6PM), however on weekends, From 10AM until 5PM on Saturday and Sunday, they want all calls forwarded to an...
  9. On call Rotation

We do this for our technicians. We have a specific queue called emergency after hours. Our on-call rotation for the week ends on Friday's at 5PM, when the new tech goes on call. I use the 3CX windows client queue manager to simply log the previous technician out of the queue, and log the...
  10. End user BLF changes not getting pushed to phone?

Cool, thanks. I'll check this out. It's a little disappointing. This is a great solution to replace service such as Jive, where when the end user saves blf changes, they're automatically pushed to the phone.
  11. End user BLF changes not getting pushed to phone?

Ahh, is there a way to modify the auto provisioning time to say, every 30 or 60 minutes?
  12. End user BLF changes not getting pushed to phone?

Users are able to make their own BLF changes now via the windows client and end user web client. Changes made in either of these locations show up properly, and also show in the BLF section in the management console, however these changes are never pushed down to the physical phone without...
  13. Solved 3CX V16 not pushing out updated firmware?

Okay, for whatever reason, the daemon on port 80 was not listening correctly after my install of v16 and restore of backup. The phones were trying to pull the firmware, just with no success. Uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed, restored backup, and all is well.
  14. Solved 3CX V16 not pushing out updated firmware?

Good point, I didn't mention connectivity. All LAN phones local to 3CX initially provisioned via PnP, nothing's changed since.
  15. Solved 3CX V16 not pushing out updated firmware?

Hello, Updated from 15.5 to 16 this evening. All Yealink T46S phones currently running firmware version 66.83.0.55, but being told they're out of date. Expected this with the upgrade. When clicking on a device, and clicking the firmware button to upgrade to 66.84.0.35, nothing happens. The...
