    @jcostlow Hi, thanks for your reply. it sounds like you are talking about IP phones here, I was referring to PBX phones. These connect to a system, which plugs into a phone line. I was wondering if you could use these phones, by just plugging them into the line, without the pbx.

    Hi all, Just a quick question, I know that VOIP phones cannot be used through just a phone line, a VOIP system is required, but can you use PBX (PABX) phones, just connected to a recular line. I always thought you could, just not being able to use the Hold features etc. Many Thanks.
