Experience with Android Cell phones attached in wifi only to use 3CX app?

Also keep in mind that on a factory floor with a lot of industrial electrical equipment, comes EMF interference. Quite probably a lot more than a typical office or home depending on the type of workplace. DECT tends to be much better in those spaces. If you have spare DECT devices you could try...

Improve Auto Firmware Upgrades for Router Phone Deployments

That is correct, you need to provision it first as a normal phone, via an SBC (like maybe another router that already works fine). You can then upgrade it as mentioned earlier and when done you can reset and add it as originally intended to the user you want as a router. Otherwise you need to...

Improve Auto Firmware Upgrades for Router Phone Deployments

No worries, let us know how it goes. If you have too many to upgrade one by one, you could get the required file from Yealink and send it to your phones using the new feature we have for adding your own. You can enable it here: And then add your firmware here: Then you can send them the...

Improve Auto Firmware Upgrades for Router Phone Deployments

Might have been a fluke that one. The option will only prevent WAN SIP registration for security, but not config and firmware download. Otherwise no router or SBC-based phones would ever provision xD I would put that down to likely be networking / DNS if it ended up working without any other...

Improve Auto Firmware Upgrades for Router Phone Deployments

I mean that it was never tested or certified this way. The certified way is over ethernet, using the MAC on the sticker (not the WiFi MAC). Whether it works or not is another matter ;) Oh do keep in mind though, the auto-upgrade feature relies on the fact that your phones current FW is not so...

Recurring SIP Registration Loss on Snom M900 Multicell System

Oh and an extra note: Also ask snom about this setting here, because depending on your network one of those types may not work reliably in your environment.

Recurring SIP Registration Loss on Snom M900 Multicell System

Ok so you are running in multicell mode, which has some special requirements. If the network requirements are not met, it's understandable that the outage will occur. Your discussion with Snom seems to point to network issues. I assume you are using the D865 as a router phone, and have the M900...

Improve Auto Firmware Upgrades for Router Phone Deployments

Hi, This already applies to router phones too, but keep in mind we don't support WiFi + router mode on Yealinks. (The only exceptions are the WiFi-only models AX83H and AX86R) I have successfully upgraded a router phone from the box, straight into router mode, but while using LAN.

    3CX SP800 keypad not working

Hi Alle, When using the apps, we do not support sending keypad DTMF while remote controlling IP phones. And as far as I'm aware, even if you log into the SP800's own web UI, you still cannot press keys during a call. If you press them while on an Active Call, it will just try to make a new...

    Snom phones lose registration

Please check as my colleague said above, but also tell us does the PBX perhaps have two ethernet controllers? 3CX requires a specific setup if you have more than one NIC. Otherwise, the PBX may end up talking to the phones from NIC2 and they may end up replying to NIC1 and cause them to enter...

    Yealink Provisioning Template TCP Configuration

The phones should not really be passing traffic over the firewall, even with TCP because it's less secure and still not reliable. Our recommended solution for this case is to install an SBC locally, on the same LAN as the phones. The phones only talk to the SBC, and then the SBC itself can talk...

Missed Queue Calls on Yealink T54W Not Displayed Correctly in 3CX Multi-Tenant Mode

What you described above is the intended behavior specifically for IP phones: ring groups can show missed calls, queues do not show abandoned queue calls. It was the same on the other system you remember, probably had ring groups there instead of queues.

Fanvil 2.12.x firmware not updating ringtone in

Hi, I took the same phone X301 v2.12.20 and changed queue ringtone to 5 and it works: Are you sure that the ringtone is the problem, or is it perhaps that your phones are not reprovisioning at all? Change the extension name and save to find out if it fails to reprovision entirely.

    Fanvil v64 Update Loop - 3CX 20 Update 9

Hi Lance, In the past we looked at the possibility with them to have those disabled only when in router mode, but it looks like this is not doable as its baked into the firmware. Their solution is to release a new hardware revision of the V64 that doubles the RAM. As they have informed us...
