  1. Incoming CID is showing as DID - ring group how to fix?

Hi Yiannish_3CX Thanks for the reply. Sorry i was not well so could not reply sooner. Yes I do have inbound rule, for that 888 DID.Are you suggesting deleting the DID inbound rule and set the destination of the RING group in the SIP trunk itself? But the issue is we have bandwidth as our main...
  2. Incoming CID is showing as DID - ring group how to fix?

Hi Guys We are using Bandwidth as the SIP Trunk, and I have created a Ring group for 2 extensions to get the main DID calls to ring both. But when we receive calls to the DID, the caller id is showing as the main DID itself? How do I go about fixing this so it shows the actual outside CID ...
  3. 3CX License Question & SMS / 2FA Gateway

Thanks for your response. our use case was the 2FA was going to be inbound not outbound, so other than the 3cx server itself being hacked seems pretty secure. If we intend to receive SMS 2FA codes on the SIP trunk DID lines..
  4. 3CX License Question & SMS / 2FA Gateway

Thank you for the suggestion. But if our DID line is used for SMS, how can it be hacked? other than our epabx (3cx) server itself being hacked or a 3cx user account being hacked. I understand the fact in general 2FA via SMS is very insecure and weak but that is the case whether its through 3CX...
  5. 3CX License Question & SMS / 2FA Gateway

Thanks very much @kieferschild, so what your saying is if my client has 5 internal extensions even if they have 15 DID's routing to each of those 5 (15x5 = 75 DIDs) the cost of licensing is only 5 as long as only 5 users are actively using (aka 5 extensions?).I understand that 3CX is unlimited...
  6. 3CX License Question & SMS / 2FA Gateway

Hello, For a client I am looking to deploy for 3CX Pro or Enterprise, and need to understand how the user is defined. If we are using Bandwidth as SIP Trunk, and have 5 internal users those 5 users can be assigned more than 1 DID, is each DID considered a user or just the actual internal...

  8. Solved 3CX with Bandwidth.com issues receiving inbound call

Sorry this is new to me, I just enabled the verbose mode and still do not see the inbound calling. One thing i did miss was bandwidth (the voip provider) said in their dashboard I had to enter the IP we have on the WAN side which I now did but issue persists. Secondly not sure if this matters...

  10. Solved 3CX with Bandwidth.com issues receiving inbound call

when i make any inbound calls, there is nothing showing on the activity log with that DID / external number. The Call log shows outbound calls being made and there are no issues with that... Thanks.
  11. Solved 3CX with Bandwidth.com issues receiving inbound call

Hello, we are testing bandwidth.com with 3cx and outbound calls work just fine adding a generic SIP trunk. Inbound calls are not getting routed properly. All necessary ports have been allowed inbound, and it seems to me that its more of a setting that i am missing. I found this previous thread...
