    cobaltit, How would you use virtualization for failover? For example if using Hyper V replication, would the replicated VM power on in the case of failover and be activated or would there be some manual intervention? I think licensing was tied to the Machine ID, MAC is that still not the case...

    I haven't tried installing the NTP server I assumed this was something that was installed by default is that not the case? I'll deploy a test vm and report back with my findings.

    We've had this issue with several debian 9 installs on our Hyper V environment. When we use the 8 iso or Windows version no issues.

    Hi please dont waste anymore time on this. It's a bug but 3CX support hasn't been much help on this issue. It appears to be with the debian 9 iso. Use the debian 8 iso and you should be good to go.

    Are there any performance metrics to compare the linux version vs the windows version? We're looking to deploy about 100 users would this task be better suited to the windows version or the linux version? or does it not matter anymore?

    Thank you that was helpful. Do you know where I can find the hardware requirements for the SBC? How beefy does the sbc server need to be to support 23 phones? Should I be using windows server edition instead of a desktop version?

    We are planning to host 3CX in the cloud and use the 3CX SBC in our office with 23 phones. Are there any known issues with this deployment? Are there capacity limitations?

    We're using asterisk with a pri card for this. My project for next quarter is to get rid of the PRI and strictly use T.38 w/ error correction...gonna be fun times...

    We had a lot of issues w/ Polycom VVX500's periodically losing registration to 3CX. We spent 3 months trying to fix these issues and ended up losing the customer to FreePBX.

    I'd also be curious to see the response to this. Currently we have built an in house fax server that accepts incoming faxes for our clients and sends them a PDF via e-mail. If they want to fax they attach the document to an e-mail and send it to [email protected]
