Solved Outbound caller ID: private/no number?

A client would like outbound calls from their 3CX PBX to not present a CLI to the outside world.

Where can I configure this in 3CX, please?

You could just set the Outbound Caller ID to "anonymous". Either in outbound rules or per user.

You could speak with your provider to see if they have a code that blocks Outbound Caller ID, and then prepend that code in your outbound rule.

Entering the word 'anonymous' in the outbound caller ID field for the extension did the trick, thank you!

Glad to see you got this working as required.

Do bear in mind that you can hide the Caller ID on demand by using the "Block Outbound Caller ID" dial code too. You can check what it's currently set to in "Settings >> Dial codes"
