Question on change subscription

My customer just renewed their 16sc license, but due to growth, they need to upgrade to a 24sc or 32sc. If I change the subscription from my portal, it looks like a new license. Won't the payment made in May be reversed to the new subscription?

Use "change subscription", select the new level of SC. It will adjust pricing with prorated pricing based on the previous license.
