  1. Follow-up on Android push notifications

I'd like to follow up on this thread which unfortunately is closed. After I've talked to internal app developers and investigates the issue with 3CX app not being launched when being called I'd like to add a piece of information that might be helpful: Case 1: Not receiving push notifications...
  2. Android app does not launch on push

The two phones tested were a Nokia 7 Plus and the other a Huawei P30 Lite.
  3. Android app does not launch on push

I just tried reproducing the issue with WhatsApp and it behaves as you outlined above. Push is only received if the app is running in background. So the conclusion is that it is in a issue with this phones and/or OS version. Thank you for helping me out anyway!
  4. Android app does not launch on push

Yes it works if the app is in background. However this is not a practical solution for daily usage since people just sometimes reboot their phones or kill all background applications to regain memory. As far as i understand the app is supposed to launch as soon as a push notification (= call) is...
  5. Android app does not launch on push

The PBX is now on 16.0.676, the app is on 16.1.0.41 (has already been before). a) App is in foreground: works b) App is in background: works c) App is closed: does not work PBX: ✓ Updated to latest version ✓ All ports open on PBX for outgoing connections ✓ Checked with custom and 3CX Firebase...
  6. Android app does not launch on push

We have now tried with two different Android phones using the same extension configuration. We've also tried changing the power saving settings etc. but the problem persists. How can I make sure that push notifications are leaving the server correctly? Outgoing connections are not restricted...
  7. Android app does not launch on push

I have now upgraded the system and now I'm on 16.0.910. Unfortunately the problem persists :-/
  8. Android app does not launch on push

The host system runs on "Linux 3.16.0-7-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.59-1 (2018-10-03)". It has been set up by the 3CX cloud wizard about two years ago and has not been changed manually.
  9. Android app does not launch on push

Hmmm, am I? The admin panel says “Your system is up to date. Last checked: Today, 13:30“ How can I manually upgrade to a newer version?
  10. Android app does not launch on push

Hello @JohnS_3CX The problem persists on multiple different phones using different 3CX extensions.
  11. Android app does not launch on push

Just as many others in this forum we are experiencing troubles with the Android app not being launched automatically when a new call comes in. If the app has been launched before and is already running in background, everything is fine. But if the app has not been launched before (e.g. phone...
  12. Solved Audio missing for calls through web client

Thank you Dan, that was the problem. Sorry for bothering you!
  13. Solved Audio missing for calls through web client

Hello, we were very excited to test the new call feature in the web client since using the web client would be suitable for most of our users. However we tried to use it on two machines with Chrome 71 on Ubuntu 18.04 and it did not work at all. We were able to place the call to a cell phone...
  14. Call status for GSM calls

The Android clients has an option “Busy When On GSM Call” that works as expected. If someone calls me through 3CX and I'm on a GSM call, they will be sent to the voicemail. However it would be nice for receptionists to have their BLF buttons updated also when calls are active on GSM rather than...
  15. Missed calls to a ring group always listed twice

We are having that problem with a ring group and an extension that uses both an IP phone and the Android client app. Is this issue fixed already or is it still “under development”?
  16. Incoming calls not matched to contacts

OK, I now figured out that the physical Yealink device will only show the contact if a) the forename or surname is filled (not only company) and b) the phone number is stored in the “mobile” field. So the phone now shows the name correctly but the call log is still inconsistent (see screenshots...
  17. Incoming calls not matched to contacts

Yes the contact was added from the web client. I cannot see the caller's name on the physical device (Yealink SIP T-46G) since only extension contacts are shown on the device's phone book. Even entries from the “company phone book” are not available on the physical device.
  18. Incoming calls not matched to contacts

I'll try to explain again, maybe one of us misunderstood what the problem is. We are only talking about the global company phonebook of 3CX. If there is no contact at all, the call log shows this picture: The first one (green) is an outgoing call. The second one (red) is a missed incoming...
  19. Incoming calls not matched to contacts

We are using the settings provided by our SIP trunk provider Telematica (AT). Inbound reformatting is configured as follows: 1. 43(.*) → 0\1 2. (.*) → 00\1 The „Caller Number/Name Field Mapping“ is configured like this: CallerNum: From: User Part CalledNum: To: User Part CallerName: Leave...
  20. Incoming calls not matched to contacts

It actually is set to "match the last 6 characters". Here are two screenshots with a contact created and one without having the contact stored in the system: I'm confused because it shows the correct picture for the contact but not the name.
