I suspect the problem is the hostname: I see in the XML configuration file the ProvLinkExternal tag contains the public hostname of the 3CX server. I didn't install the server myself so I'm not sure, but this is probably resolved with a public IP address. Since the Android clients are locked out...
Hi
We run 3CX server in our LAN. We have few handsets, which are Android phones, which need to register to the PBX and be able to make phone calls, inside and outside. But we don't want these phones to be able to freely surf internet, so we locked them down to LAN only.
Sadly, with this...
It's happening with at least two different VoIP providers.
It seems that 3CX hasn't dropped the call, as in the logs I see not answered...
I'll do some intensive tests tomorrow to see if I can get any error
Another VoIP system means another trunk, from a different provider than mine.
I mentioned PSTN lines because if I make a call from a traditional phone system (i.e. my cell phone) everything works fine.
yes
as I said 3CX reports the call as unanswered for all the time the caller waits for an...
Hi.
We're experiencing a strange issue on our on-premise installation: it works great, but when we receive a phone from another VoIP system the call drops after two rings, but on the other side they say there's no answer.
Our 3CX has an IVR, so the calling user listens to the message, composes...
Hi @YiannisH_3CX did you had any chance to investigate further on this matter? I have a fresh install of Debian+3CX, if you need specific testing.
I just configured break time between 15:00 and 15:20, dialed inbound at 15:01 and it went to the standard route, not using the OOO one.
Server time...
that command didn't work in my Google Cloud console, but
$ date +%Z
CET
so the TZ should be ok.
The break times were there as attempt, but according to your description we need to change office hours so I'll remove them
I'm digging into the advanced parameters and I found two settings which might be relevant:
TIME_DST_SAVING_MINUTES: 60
TIME_UTC_OFFSET_MINUTES: 60
We're in Europe/Rome, so currently UTC+1 (non DST). Is it possible that it's doing +120 minutes because of this?
EDIT: DST param is set to 0
I don't think the problem is with extension, but from the SIP Trunk configuration itself. I've set it this way:
so it's very simple: during office hours play an IVR, when outside play another. The problem here is that if I call say 10 minutes after the work hour started I still hear the...
Hi.
I'm trying to configure office hours but it doesn't seem to work. I'm trying both on a Google Cloud instance and on an on-premise local install.
I'm using the default work hours, from 9 to 18, with 1h break from 13 to 14, but when I call the main (and only) trunk at 14:10 the responder...
