  1. No camera? Dial-in to your next 3CX WebMeeting

Question about the dial in service: I assume that it connects to the PBX and uses a call license. My question is that one of our PBXes is a 32 SC. It comes with a 100 concurrent license for web meetings. Granted we have never reached it but have had 20 or more people on for a training class...
  2. 15.5.18.465

I am having a problem with the latest beta and running on the LTE (Tmobile network). Eveytime i answer a call the call, the client says not acceptable here and drops the call. If i turn on the tunnel then it works, I didn't have to do that for the production client. Any ideas on why I would...
  3. Update 6 BETA - Try out our new web based softphone!

Aram: thanks for the info. What version of hte PBX does this work on (standard, pro, or enterprise)? --Tracy
  4. Update 6 BETA - Try out our new web based softphone!

That makes sense. Also where is the custom ringtone per queue setting. I looked in the queue and the extension and only see the queue ringtone. From what i remember it is in update 5. Also is it specific to certain phones or will it work for any supported phone (we use about 95% fanvil...
  5. Update 6 BETA - Try out our new web based softphone!

Bianca: How does the multiple queue ringing and call recordings work with the queues. Historically the recordings are based on the extension not the queue. Is it now based on the queue or does the queue settings trump the extension settings if the someone calls the queue. Also does the dist...
  6. Update 6 BETA - Try out our new web based softphone!

Bianca: With this release, can i get a document showing which features that have been added are apart of which SKU. An example is the logos on the phones. For that feature, we are required to have an enterprise license. What other features require the enterprise license? --Tracy
  7. Do I need inbound firewall rules when I use a Cloud solution of 3CX?

If using STUN, you would have to open the inbound ports required for each phone. If you switch to the SBC, it is NAT capable and you shouldn't need to open any inbound ports. --Tracy
  8. DID / Trunk Report SP5

I have a small office that I upgraded to SP5. I also have a patton FXO gateway attached to the PBX with 4 analog lines. When i run the report, I am getting the port numbers from the patton listed back with calls and not the DIDs associated with it. Is there something I have to do to correct...
  9. Update 4 is Here - Check out all the new features

Nicky: Believe you me I have been trying to get there the last 3 updates. It is tiring to keep modifying templates on each update and update all of the phones accordingly. On the otherhand, I can't remove features staff have and use just because of updates. --Tracy
  10. Update 4 is Here - Check out all the new features

I would imagine the same way it was done previously customizing templates.
  11. Logo on Administration Page - add site name in banner

I have 4 3cx systems. One of my staff modified the logos so that we can easily figure out which of the 4 systems we are signed into. --Tracy
  12. Update 4 is Here - Check out all the new features

Aram: So the improvement is that we can add one multicast paging group to the phone? I would imagine that if we needed more than we go back to the customized templates correct? --Tracy
  13. Patton PRI Gateway

You should be able to downgrade from trinity to smartware. Here is the link to downgrade the software https://www.patton.com/support/upgrades/files/release/How_to_downgrade_from_Trinity_to_SmartWare.pdf --Tracy
  14. V15.5, Update 4 BETA: Voicemail to text transcription, queue ringtones and more…

We have multiple page groups. Looking at the video can the phones be in multiple page groups? We normally have one building wide and some that are department specific. Will there be a way to add in multiple mulitpage groups as most supported phones can handle at least 4 or 5. Also is the...
  15. System phones not changing time after DST

Yiannish: The only phones affected that I have are the X5G and i am in the eastern time zone. It is just missing the hour ahead due to DST. --Tracy
  16. System phones not changing time after DST

Had the same issue yesterday with only the X5Gs. I just created a custom template and modified the settings accordingly and reprovisioned the phones. The only problem with my solution is that some of my staff use hotdesking as they float between buildings and the hotdesking uses the default so...
  17. 3CX v15.5 Update 2 Brings QR Codes, Hotdesking, CRM Integration and More

Nicky: I think it would make a lot of sense to post a matrix depicting what features are available for each supported phone. This may get confusing as most people think that a supported phone would include all of the features. --Tracy
  18. 3CX v15.5 Update 2 Brings QR Codes, Hotdesking, CRM Integration and More

While not sure how they programmed it but since i am guessing is that my hypothesis is that there is only one entry for a configuration file (since they generate on the fly) in the database and with the reboots, the system wouldn't know which configuration file to send down to the phone. Since...
  19. 3CX v15.5 Update 2 Brings QR Codes, Hotdesking, CRM Integration and More

Also how do we setup the recurring greetings? I am trying to use the webclient and can only schedule a single meeting or am i to use the 3cx client to schedule them? --Tracy
  20. 3CX v15.5 Update 2 Brings QR Codes, Hotdesking, CRM Integration and More

I see hotdesking doesn't support fanvil phones (X5 series). Will this be added as i see it is a compatible phone and on their website they mention the phones both the X5g and the X5s support hotdesking. --Tracy
