Got it. Thanks for the info. I was looking at a yealink T58A this morning. In the real world with a lot of G.711 what are your guys experience with sound quality using opus with 3cx? A lot of people are still advising against it.
I am running version 16.0.9 on Windows 10 Pro. I still don't see any option to add OPUS as a codec under provisioning for these phones? I asked this question about a year ago. Thanks
Does anybody have any specific inbound parameter settings for telnyx. With local numbers the incoming caller is displayed correctly. With toll free numbers I'm only showing the State of the caller/city. This is the default setup.
Telnyx is my sip provider. They support Opus,G.722 and just about anything cutting edge on the market. Can you explain your G.711 explanation. G.711 is a thing of the past. It's like going backwards in time.
I have a yealink T48S running 3CX version 16.0.610. There is still no support for the Opus codec with this phone? Do you guys have any idea when this is going to happen? I would like to have better audio quality.
Try this. Hard code the sip trunk ip address in Registrar/Server/Gateway Hostname or IP. Then hard code the trunks ip in the Outbound Proxy section also. This solved a lot of issues for me on outgoing calls when I had issues and nobody seemed to have an answer for me. Let me know if this...
