3CX - 100rel/PRACK Support

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is any intention in a future release for 3CX to support 100rel/PRACK?

With Gamma infrastructure change they will be sending 100rel in their support headers going forward and with no support on 3CX we are seeing issues with 183 responses from destinations.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Calls are being terminated before answering, basically the end destination is sending a 183 back, which GAMMA SIP accepts because they support in on their network but because the 3CX does not the call is terminated.

Supporting 183 messages does not mean you support or do not support PRACK. 3CX supports early media (183 responses) but does not support PRACK currently. That just means that the SDP must be sent again in the 200 OK message once the call is answered.

Gamma which is in the middle should translate messages depending what the endpoints support and should not drop calls. If one endpoint supports PRACK does not mean that all endpoints should and if they do not calls will fail.
