I cannot get the HT801 to go green in 3CX. I am only doing an internal system with extensions for each phone. I believe I did it correctly but the HT801 has many more options than what I watched on Network Chuck. Picture of my HT801 page below. Any help appreciated.

The ht801 is provisioned over an sbc? Please put screenshots directly here and not an pdf.

The provisioning path in your ht isnt correct. There you need your pbx and not grandstream.

That is the main issue. I have no clue where to upload it to. I have tried a few spots and know I am doing it wrong. I assumed I went in knowing how to download the file to but now I am questioning the entire process. I am working on Windows 11 and believe I have downloaded it correctly but now I am going to ask for the entire process from the download to where I am supposed to upload it to.

Just follow the link... ?

I have followed the link but saving it as a *.bin file was interesting to start with but got it and now I have also uploaded it. I am awaiting to see what happens as it reboots.

The bin is for firmware upgrade, you need to download the config und upload it to the ht. This is also in the manual.

So i am seeing where I went wrong a little. I have been trying to upload the config on the firmware. So I am going to update the firmware then actually try and do things correctly.

Nope the XML file I saved does nothing to this HT801. I even tried to update the firmware and it stayed the same. Going to reset and try again. Everything remains same as new. No changes occur as I attempt to make changes.

Did you provisioned it over the sbc? Do you have an sbc, you didnt answered this question.

I have an SBC and it is green. The issue is the HT801. I have tried to update the firmware and that is also failing.

My sbc is green. I am currently on version 1.0.53.3 and I have tried to update the firmware to 1.0.57.1 and that fails. I ignored the update and attempted to upload the XMl file and that also fails.

If you open the ht801.. please show a screenshot of the configuration in 3cx.

After speaking with GrandStream, I finally got the HT801 to upgrade to latest firmware. The XML file still will not provision using the local method. I had to create an apache server to get the HT801 to upgrade. Is that an option to get he XML to provision? If so, how?

No, just upload it to the ht801. The Ata needs to reach the sbc. Are they in the same subnet?

Yes. Everything is in same subnet. The modem/router has only 2 Lan ports and the ATA is in one of them.

I once again opened the xml file in my browser and did a save as I then under upload configuration clicked on upload from local directory. I click on choose file and choose the correct xml file I just saved. I see the file name next to the choose file button. Under it I see the button to upload configuration so I click it. It says
The device is processing the firmware or configuration now...
You may relogin by clicking on the link below in 250 seconds.
Click to relogin
I wait 10 minutes and the login screen is actually back to log in and I log in to find no changes.
The SBC is green and I followed all instructions to create it. The Grandstream HT801 remains red.
