Hi,

Has anyone had experience using the client on terminal server, i have a really weird issue at the min, i have about 40 users using TS across 2 different RDS servers, when a user is on the phone and another call comes through to the queue it seems to mute the active call until the queued call is answered.

I know this may not be for this forum but just curious if anyone else has it setup in this way?

I have not yet tried the webclient this might be something to try.

Hello @diamond9
  • Server OS, e.g. Debian 9 / Windows Server 2012 R2 / Raspberry Pi
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where ?
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware
  • Provisioning Method: Local / VPN / STUN / SBC
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: YES / NO
Can you tell me if RDS is on the same LAN than phones and 3CX ? Due to the weird sound management of RDS, it could be hard !

RDS and the 3CX is on the same LAN in the DC, thats the only thing i keep thinking of is the sound within RDS or ESXi (virtual host software)

You sayed you tried with the client but not with webclient, do you speak about windows client ?
I'll try to reproduce it at work !

i have used the windows client and thats all for now, it doesnt happen all the time its really random

I'll try it with a webclient linked to a softphone and a webclient linked to a deskphone ! Let me know if you try smthg too ! :)
