3cx App ringtone does not play Do No Disturb when enabled

Hi!

I'm using 3cx App Version 16.6.2.89 and I'm running into an issue where when my phone is on Do Not Disturb (DND) mode if a call comes in it will not play any ringtone. DND is set to allow 3cx to override the app. 3cx App is not in silent mode. In doing some testing I have noticed that Google Voice (Also allowed to override DND) will use a ringtone when a call comes in. However, looking at the 3cx Notification settings in Android I notice there are two Call Notification channels and when a call comes in the Sound is changed from whatever I have set to "None". Please see attached screenshots for reference.

I have noticed this behavior on both my previous phone ( Samsung S8+ running Android 9) and my new phone (Google Pixel 4a 5G running Android 11).

I happen to have a Pixel 5 on Android 11 (December 5th update) and I don't seem to have the same problem.
All I needed to do is go to Settings --> Sound & vibration --> Do Not Disturb, and here tap on Apps.
I added 3CX here and notifications came through while DND was on.
I checked back after a call and notifications were still on.

Hi Nick, my Pixel 4a 5G is also on the December 5th update. With the issue I'm having I do still receive notifications but any calls that ring to the 3cx Android app do not have a ringtone. This

As noted in my initial screenshots you can see that 3cx is added to Apps under Do No Disturb and "All Notifications" is set but I dont have any sound and after any call is displayed in the 3cx Android app the ringtone goes back to "None" . Is there a setting in 3cx Android app or 3cx call manager that could cause this behavior?

Would you like me to record my phone while I do another test so you can see the exact behavior as described?

Thanks for that, I thnk I understand now. Indeed the sound is not played, just the notification appears.
I'll report this and try and update the thread, this though will probably be after the Xmas holidays.

Not yet, but we are exploring options to see if we can somehow make the app behave like other similar apps when Android DND is on.

Just wanted to post an update on this, we have found a fix for this issue and will be included on an upcoming Android App release version.
