Hi all,

I have set up a 3CX (Master) Bridge to an Asterisk PBX. When making calls over to the Asterisk PBX from the 3CX server I am unable to set the from header to show the extension number of the user who has made the call.

Is there any way to force this via custom attributes ?

Are there not outbound trunk options for the Bridge trunk? Normally there are a few settings involving where outbound caller ID is taken from. When dealing with trunks to providers, it can be hit or miss. You may need to make some changes, test, and then change again. Keep track of original settings.

Hello @mroz

As the bridge feature is designed to bridge 2 3CX Phone systems together the outbound parameter options are limited. There is a guide on how to bridge a 3CX PBX to an Asterisk and although the screenshots are a bit outdated the theory still applies. https://www.3cx.com/docs/
If the bridge setup does not offer enough flexibility then you can use the trunk option as @dan_tx suggested.

We need to have the internal Extenstion number to be included in the from header when calls are transfed over to asterisk. Also when calling external we need the DDI that is set under the account.
