Unable to make calls from the app and each time receive the message saying can not reach the number you have called, the number may be incorrect or out of order.
Though incoming calls are no issues at all.

The error log is pasted below.
Device +61XXXXXXX dialed on (AnyLine@XXX) has reached max amount of calls - Call(from "XXXXXX"<sip:[email protected]>;tag=xEyUSHu460Z2DAwgdKaikQA.JPbUSOy7 to +61XXXXXX)

hi guys, any update on this ?

@chili, has this been resolved on your end?

I'm currently having the same problem. I use the apps for Windows and my smartphone. I don't have a desk phone. Incoming calls work. I use the 3CX Free version. Is there a solution?

Thanks

Hi, can you please clarify, see if I have understanding correctly?

- sounds like you are using 3cx-free edition (ie, hosting and management by team @ 3cx)
- you had things working well in the past, for both inbound and outbound calling, and now recently things stopped working?
- or is this a fresh setup and you are trying to get it working 'for the first time' / adding config for your SIP Trunk provider etc?
- sanity test, you can have 2x EXT in the 3cx system, and call from one to the other via web-3cx-app or 3cx-app-smartphone-app or similar, and there are no problems?
- but when you try to call outbound to outside world, call fails and you get error as per log above (?)
- and you have a SIP trunk provider config in place / with a supported SIP Trunk service provider and you followed setup hints for this particular SIP Provider / for 3cx setup - config - integration ? (ie, correct settings and template are used, etc?)

Thanks,

Tim

That sounds like a recording from your provider. Are you certain that you are sending numbers in the correct format and that any provider "account" setting are not causing calls to be blocked?

Hello,

1. yes it it the free version 10
2. inbound connections works fine. Just Outbound does not work, I think at the first day after setting up it works a few times. And as i tried do finetune my call configuration i realized that outbound calls always forced to end by 3cx.
3. yes a fresh set up. i am using an telekom company flex sip trunk that was provided by my employer for testing.
4. the sip trunk can have up to 4 calls but is limited to 2, because another trunk is using the others. internall calls working fine as well
5. Error message is 3cx cant reach external number...
6. it is atleast a supported provider as Telekom with company flex. i used the 3cx installation guide for setting up the trunk configuration. as it is a 3cx free not all configurations can be set because they are managed by 3cx.

maybe those information can help. all support is appreciated.

No, 3CX ends the call. Error message says 3Cx cannot reach external number.... And yes i set up outbound rules. even an wildcard rule does not work and i tried the differend variation with "+", "00" and so on. But nothing works.

This could still be the provider rejecting the call because the number format is not what they expect. What do the logs show?

The logs of the free version are kinda not existing in regards to a pro or enterprise version. Call Log just said the call is rejected:
Dialed: (XXXXX) → Via rule: NoChanges (XXXXX) → Via trunk: SIP (XXXXX) → Rejected

On the SiP Trunk at telekom i dont have access if they are logging call requests. Do you know that? Than i maybe need to request a review of those.

The trunk provider should have a record if the calls are reaching them - do check with them, or see if they have logs on their portal.

need to check this. As far as i investigate the portal there are no logs or i cannot access them with my permission level

Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what it was, but it's working now.

The following was done: (in this order)
1. Tested the SIP trunk by connecting it to a Fritz!Box -> works absolutely fine
2. Recreated the SIP trunk to check for possible misconfigurations (some configurations can't be changed after creation)
3. Changed the telephony profile from "Use Corporate Standard" to "Standard Protect" from Telekom.
4. Reintegrated the SIP trunk on 3CX SMB Free with a wildcard outgoing rule without changing the phone numbers

I just experienced this issue as well ("3CX cannot reach the number you have called") after a year of working fine, and wanted to report in about how I resolved it:

For whatever reason, my sip trunk was no longer connected.

So to resolve this, I:
  1. Went in to Admin (bottom left)
  2. Voice & Chat tab:
  3. Then was able to see my sip trunk was red color in status and click a button to "reconnect" it (i forget the exact term used in the UI but it was something to that effect).

I don't know why this must be done manually, but hey. If it only happens once per year that's fine.

experienced this issue as well ("3CX cannot reach the number you have called") unable to call 101 or111 not tried 999 as don't wont problems, if i set voip detials on phone as an A/c and call it works but doing it through 3CX it failed with this

Dialed: (101) → Via rule: Outbound rule for voipfone 01869***610 (101) → Via trunk: voipfone 01869***610 (101) → Rejected

any one got a clue as to what to do ??
