We were having this issue for a month now, Firefox working fine. Similar issue https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...ased-browsers-pwa-app-and-desktop-app.121845/. The fix for us was to have "A" record for the FQDN instead of a CNAME and have it resolve to the public IP address on both the internal and external DNS server. This was tested first by spinning up a trial server with replicated firewall rules but a different public address.
If we have it as internal IP on the local DNS, the delay is still there. Hope it helps.
