3cx Failover/Licencing

Hello I want to deploy 3cx pbx Entreprise Licence with more than 512 sm calss witth failover (2pbx main/backup) i want to know i need two licence entreprise for each PBX ?

unfortunately there is no document how to install 3cx with HA

Yes and the same license for the second server.

Tip: use an FTP or Google buckets for backup storage, this way the schedule restore will be better.

Exactly! Put the restore at least 1h after the backup so that it has time to complete. That's why having a shared location is kind of a requirement for this.

I also recommend you archive recordings daily so that the backups only include the last day of recordings. Once again, these can be archived in a shared location (FTP, SMB or Google Buckets) and be accessible from both systems as the database entry will be there still. (As long as you include recordings in the scheduled backup, obviously.)

Exactly. One is passive (scheduled restore), and one is active, which is the main one, and that one does the scheduled restore.

Hello i have setup failover i think it works but i have an issue, when im shut down the active server the second became active, but if i run the active server the second still the active, its a script issue ?
i have 2 pbx with debian and 1 microsoft windows server for dns resolution

No it's normal. The switching from active/passive is automatic, but to go back to active has to be done manually. That's by design so that it doesn't do it automatically when, for example, the machine is broken or data is corrupted.
